Instructions to authors…./ Instructions aux auteurs….

Manuscripts for Acta Commercii should be written in English or Afrikaans. 

Every article submitted for review should address the following, where applicable: 

• Introduction 
• Purpose / objectives of the article 
• Problem investigated / hypothesis 
• Research method 
• Results 
• Discussion (main part of article) 
• Conclusions / recommendations. 

In addition, each article will be supplemented by an abstract of approximately 100 words in the language of the article. Each article should also contain an English summary of about 400 words. 

A modified Harvard method will be used for references. 

Tables, diagrams, illustrations and equations should be kept to a minimum. The author should incorporate these in the text in a direct printable format. 

Manuscripts will be submitted electronically to [email protected].  A separate page should carry the title of the article, its author(s) and relevant biographical information, including full name, academic title, current position and institution (where appropriate). Postal and e-mail addresses as well as contact telephone numbers should also be provided. All articles will be forwarded electronically to the Journal and referees. 

Articles should be 5 to 10 pages in length and typed on MS Word in 1.5 spacing using 12 pt Tahoma font. Each margin should be 3 cm wide. Headings should be in bold: main headings 14 pt and subheadings 12 pt.
