Abstract: This paper describes a study aimed at increasing an organisation's ability to implement a strategy for establishing an intrapreneurial orientation effectively. Establishing an intrapreneurial orientation will be treated from a strategic management point of view, with the emphasis on the implementation phase of strategic management. As such, this study seeks to integrate theory and practice from the fields of strategic management and entrepreneurship.

Sponsorship evaluation in South Africa

Abstract: Sponsorships are regarded as a marketing communications activity. This is seem as an investment made by an organisation that need to be evaluated in terms of its return and contribution. Sport sponsorships have increased in South Africa since re-admittance to the international sports arena. There are various objectives for sponsorships. The identification of these objectives is important for the evaluation of sponsorships. The articles proposes some guidelines for the evaluation of sponsorships.

Motivation influencing worker performance in a technical division of Telkom SA

Abstract: This paper investigates the overall motivational level of employees in a technical division of Telkom SA during change periods. Specific reasons for the established levels of motivation are identified. Based on the six motivator factors and ten hygiene factors as presented by Herzberg, it is the conclusion of this study that the solution to motivate employees are based on informed and positively motivated employees who participate continuously in the change process at all levels.

Abstract: Die huidige opleiding van bestuurders is steeds tot `n groot mate geskoei op die tradisionele onderrigmodel: teoretoiese opleiding in die klaskamer met behulp van lesings en transpararante. Volgens `n opname onder afgestudeerde studente, bevredig hierdie onderrigmodel nie die behoeftes van die sakelui nie. Die instelling van `n internskap word voorgestel om die opleiding meer praktykgerig te maak.
