The original typewritten manuscript plus two clear copies should be submitted. Type on A4 format on one side of the paper only, using double spacing. The first page should contain the title of the article and the author's name and address.

Contributions to Acta Criminologica must be submitted in English since English is the medium of correspondence of CRIMSA, and should not exceed 15 typed pages. A typewritten manuscript plus an electronic copy (backup on floppy) in Word Perfect should be submitted. The file name must be specified on the disk.

References are made according to the abridged Harvard method.

A contribution is considered provided it has been edited, that the Editorial Committee will submit it to referees for evaluation and may alter or amend the manuscript in the interests of stylistic consistency, grammatical correctness or coherence.

Authors bear full responsibility for the accuracy of the factual content of their contributions.
Copyright of all published material is vested in the Criminological Society of Southern Africa (CRIMSA).

A publication fee of R700,00 (± US$115,00) is payable upon publication of an article. In the cases of larger articles as prescribed accepted for publication, an additional fee may be levied.
Manuscripts for publication should be submitted not later than 15 October (lst issue) and 15 April (2nd issue) to:
