Aims and Scope of Journal
The African Finance Journal is currently published twice a year and the long-term aim is to increase it to three times. The AFJ is edited at the Africa Centre for Investment Analysis, Graduate School of Business, University of Stellenbosch, South Africa. It is published jointly by the African Finance Association (AFA) and the University of Stellenbosch. The journal publishes significant new research in finance and strives to establish a balance between theoretical and empirical studies. Papers written in any areas of Finance, Accounting and Economics will be considered for publication. The principal criteria for inclusion are a paper's quality and contribution to the field of Finance, Accounting and Economics without undue regard to its technical content.
The journal also publishes one Finance Letter per issue. This does not have to contain original research and can be a literature review on a specific topic of relevance to the broader finance community. The paper should however make a significant contribution to improve the understanding of a specific concept.
Target Groups
Academics, Corporations, Governments, NGOs, Students and other Policy Makers.
