The Journal of Humanities is a theoretical journal which aims to challenge, provoke and excite thinking in the areas of the classics, fine performing arts, literature and orature, linguistics, theology and philosophy. The journal appears annually and is sponsored by the Research and Publications Committee of the Univeristy of Malawi.
The editors welcome original contributions in the form of articles, reviews, notes from scholars in the humanities that will promote and foster its aims. Priority is given to articles focusing on east, central and southern Africa. The journal takes a pluralistic and non-partisan approach.
