Association of Research LibrariesLatin American
Research Resources Pilot Project
An ARL pilot project to create a prototype for fully connected
collections for Latin American studies. Hosts a table of contents
serials database of almost 400 academic journals from Argentina,
Brazil and Mexico. The journals, and individual articles, can be
located through a variety of browsing and searching combinations.
Users can request delivery of articles directly through the
database (but for libraries, other than participating libraries,

The Caribbean Home Page - West Indies Website Directory
This portal is a handy starting point for all things Caribbean. There are extensive links sections to business and trade, education and universities, government and organizations, newspapers and periodicals, radio and TV stations, as well as many links of general interest, including travel and tourism. The site even recognizes your personal user IP address, informs you how many people are accessing the site at the same time as you, tells you the local time, and tells you the local air temperature, which was 90 degrees with humidity at 87 per cent when we visited the site-"which is great for Carnival but it's really far too hot to work!"

Cultural Studies Virtual Library [Latin America]

good annotated links to Latin American publishers, bookstores, libraries,

This gateway maintained by LANIC at the University of Texas is
Austin is probably the most comprehensive directory of links to
Internet information on Latin America. It provides a directory by
country and by broad subject areas, together with links to
regional and global resources, and it is updated very frequently.

An on-line regional bibliographical information system
