Programme funding and support
VLIR and IDRC complimentary support
Funding and support for the "Bandwidth optimisation and management training support" activities has been made available from both the Flemish Interuniversity Council (VLIR) and the International Development Research Centre (IDRC).
Support for the initial activities of this programme will be shared equally between VLIR and IDRC, this will include the activities and costs of the programme inception, design, materials planning workshop, materials authoring and pilot workshop.
 
The actual delivery of training workshops will be split depending on the location and type of training workshop. VLIR will support workshops in selected universities that they already support. IDRC will support a series of workshops within African countries.
